THE BLUE MAX is my favorite Goldsmith score and I'm happy for James that he said it's selling very well! This is a fantastic 5:30 minute suite of the Retreat music from THE BLUE MAX. I immediately bought the Tadlow one too, it is spectacular! The Tadlow also contains large suites from other Goldsmith scores too! The Tadlow is well worth buying also. That's great James - congratulations. The Blue Max is definitely Want List material. Some purists may prefer Goldsmith’s lean, angular dissonances on La-La Land’s complete soundtrack album purely as a performance, but make no mistake, Raine and the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra with Tadlow’s sound have given us nothing less than the best available recording of Goldsmith’s full orchestral sound, by far.
